Today, I would like to share with you a few of my favorite self care activities for boosting your confidence.
My personal favorite self care activity for confidence is to take a walk. I especially love this one because it's an activity that I can include my dog in too! If it's too hot or cold outside, we will walk on my treadmill inside or take a drive to Lowe's and walk around the store.
Another related self care activity is to snuggle your pet or the nearest available pet if you don't have one. I get so much joy from training my dog and it gives me so much confidence when she obeys my commands. A well earned snuggle is a great confidence boost for both of us!
Another way I boost my confidence with self care is by dancing it out to an upbeat song. I turn on my Pandora station and sing as loud as I can while moving my body in a way that feels good and brings me joy. My neighbors may think I' eccentric but that's ok...I am and it makes me feel confident.
A recent self care activity that I've found a lot of confidence in is writing in my journal. I am able to write out my feelings and I've made quite a few connections that way. This leaves my brain feeling so much less cluttered and I am so proud of myself for accomplishing it. So as a direct result, I will feel more confident!
